Knowing Dr Glen McKeough in three questions
- Why did you decide to open your own clinic?
I have worked as an Associate Dentist with Bupa Dental in Garden City Mount Gravatt and Coastal Dental Care in Redlands for many years now. I love treating patients’ long term and following their dental journal to enhance and then maintain their beautiful smiles. I have parted ways with Bupa Dental now to focus on The Practice – Modern Dentistry & Facial Aesthetics. Having my own clinic allows me to establish roots and give patients quality extensive dental care.
- Why did you choose West Village, West End as the clinic location?
It’s such a beautiful and central location. We have West Village with many restaurants, Harris Farmers Market and Woolworths at your fingertips. It’s so central and close to Brisbane City, South Bank, South Brisbane, New Farm, Woolloongaba, Paddington, Toowong and Highgate Hill, Queensland. We are surrounded by great schools West End State School, Summerville House, Brisbane state high, Brisbane Boys Grammer and Brisbane Girls Grammer. It is also only a ferry ride from University of Queensland. It’s also central for myself and my 3 incredible partners Jodi McKeough, Andrew Molloy and Tony Hsu.
- What treatments of dentistry do you enjoy the most?
I do love the variety of dentistry but I have a particular interest and skill set in Oral Surgery, Wisdom teeth removal, Dental Implants, Orthodontics, Invisalign and Cosmetic Dentistry.
