Fissure Sealants

Fissure sealants help to prevent tooth decay and are most effective when applied to newly erupted teeth targeting the adult molars when the child’s oral hygiene may not be well. This is done so by filling in the pits and fissures in the molar teeth where dental decay most often occurs. Doing so will create a surface that allows you to clean more successfully and be able to remove food and bacteria from the built up fissure.
