Root Canal

Root canal treatment is a procedure that replaces the damaged or infected nerve in the tooth with a filling. Your tooth may require this treatment if it becomes infected by either decay, a deep crack in the tooth that extends to the nerve, gum disease, grinding (in extreme cases) or if the tooth has taken a hard knock from trauma. Though it sounds scary, it is generally a comfortable and straight forward appointment for the patient.
